We are proud to announce that Wilfred Hunt School students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 have been trained as Playground Conflict Managers! The Playground Conflict Managers' program teaches students how to ask open-ended questions and be active listeners when helping resolve conflicts, and it teaches students how to help younger students work out personal conflicts using a mediation process.
Conflict Managers will provide valuable assistance to younger students and demonstrate leadership in our school. Our Conflict Mangers' team is on duty on our Hunt Junior playground at the 10:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. recesses.
Thank you to Ms. Laura Radford for training our team members and supervising this important work!
